But I assessed the wind speed as 18 mph, and asked the guy with the wind meter what speed it was, and he said 18..... So I have not lost it! ...

The highlight for me was the rate of chewing gum. Th...

I have ridden the Garrigill kirkland golf balls loop a few times, in the opposite direction to which we will be going. It is hard work! I will see what the weather is like on Sunday before making any decision.... Especially bearing in mind that after Garrigill you have the climb out to Nenthead, and...
We have sorted luggage transfer from Whitehaven to Greystoke, as we have friends who will be joining us for saturdays ride, and they will have a camper van travelling from Whitehaven to Greystoke. So if you want to take a small bag with a change of clothes etc, it can be dumped in the van saturday m...
TRAIN TIMES: 3:23 from Newcastle gets in at 6:30 whitehaven with one change. 4:23 from Newcastle gets in at 7:23 and is direct. They are roughly every hour after that. 4:23 is the only direct one. Susan and I will probably get the 4:23, but get on at Stocksfield. BAGS I would prefer if at all possib...
