First and foremost, to get the year through without breaking anything. To get at least 1 XC from a Cheviot site. Distance......Anything To get at least 2 XC from X-Fell. 1 of which is equal to or greater than Steve Gills. Again without breaking anything. And finally, to get the paragliding CP finish...

I think the glider rider is as good an idea as any Peter.
I used to have a contraption like this on an Astra estate. It did the job well but was a bigger faff than sticking the rider on the bonnet.

For any new or pilots to be watching this video, a helmet is recommended for any kind of ground handling.
There has been fatalities ground handling in the past due to the lack of headgear.

Check with the Glider club, they might let you put up the rig on their hanger. They seem a friendly bunch of lads and lassies and i'm sure would benefit from the rig also.

It's also the East fortune air show so you tend to get a lot of traffic between the two shows.
Might be worth going to East hill just to watch the Catalina pass by :)

Nearly everybody that turned out got airborne John. Nothing epic but both paragliders and the hang gliders flew with switching wind strengths and directions.
There's always tomorrow though :(

Coldsmouth hill might the place to be on Saturday if it stays North of West.
