Just heard from the "Coal face", time 10.00am, top end at Horden at the moment but a friend of mine is currently soaring at Marske with wind pretty much square on but again a tad on the top end side. So head for the Marske take off rather than Saltburn end if your going. Enjoy and fly safe...

Nice new addition to the XC Weather site with extended forecast option. Just click on a station and it gives predicted weather and temp now as well as wind. Think the coast may get a few visits over the coming few days!! But dont forget easterly winds can also bring a lot of crap to the east coast. ...

Thats possibly because in theory they only have one site where they actually have sole permission to use it i.e. Carlton Bank.All others are sites where anyone flys them without any specific agreements with landowners.
