Just to put a slight dampner on things these aren't actually the Salomon Paragliding boots. They look a bit like them but do not have the same ankle support and protection as the originals.
Nice boots though for the price all the same

Notams
This is a good little link for very quick access to notams valid now and over the next 24hours country wide. It requires a very quick free registration first.
See what you think!!

first days flying became the most terifying experience as the wind picked up to 30 on the top and left me shiting myself trying to get down. first time for me. All joking aside it doesn't sound like the kind of weather for a first flight back after a very serious accident to me!!!! Be carefull plea...

When it gets too windy(For me around 18-20mph on my windy meter) I put my Paragliding wing away(Nova Syntax) and get out my Paramotoring wing and carry on flying( if im that desterate!). Weather Station
Here is a live link to the weather station at the Yorkshire Gliding club at Sutton bank for those that like these sort of things. It's not far from Model Ridge or the Dales so may be good to give it a quick glance when trying to make decisions

You should not have been out at all that day. You have been very lucky! Get the met books out again(or for the first time!!) and study hard. You need to always be aware of the type of airmass you are flying in and avoid Cu Nimbs by at least 25 MILES A little bimble backwards and forwards along a hil...
