Yes, the pilot posted the comments himself. One lesson learned from the video is that things can easily go quickly wrong. We often let members of the public get quite close to our take offs (and I am thinking more "Model Ridge" hear) Although we can't actually stop anyone standing near and...

Didn't notice you until just before you landed. ( I didn't see anyone else after about 8k from take off except for a sailplane straight lining the convergence ) I wished I had some photos with the cloud 2000' below, but I can't use my camera with gloves on, and it was too cold to take them off. Wher...

I will be going, having a few beers, watching the band "On the Rocks" ( Dave Hume and co.) And camping over.
Next morning there is the chance to have a look at some of the aircraft, also vintage cars, have a cuppa and bacon sandwich. Some of the paramotors might be there also.

Careful where you put your karabiners.

While trying to keep the weight of my flying kit below 15Kg for the hold baggage limit on a recent flight, I decided to put some of it including karabiners into my cabin baggage. When going through the X-ray machine at the airport, I was asked to open my bag. The 2 karabiners I had were confiscated....

Is this likely to increase or decrease? Do we get the hours in, or the days out to hold a competetive league? Better put ...

Hi Bill, Ed, in reply to "what's Lanzarote like for paragliding?" It tends to be days of strongish winds, then days on end of lightish winds. Most sites have decent top to bottom heights, so you can have several extended top to bottom flights in a day. We had some great thermaling days als...

Went there years ago and it was very nice ( 1st week in sept also ) It has take offs either side of a large flat valley, some ramp and some rounded grass slopes.
Unfortunately I wont now be going to France this year. Hope you have a good time.
