Saturday definitely looking good, however I am over in the North York Moors (NYM). I know little about the sites there, guessing that with Saturdays suggested wind direction it is not so good for NYM.

All the better to cover big distance!

Though if it's as unstable as it is today I won't be leaving the ground!

hi kitt we have a small site that takes sw called captain cooks, near great ayton on the northern edge of the moors. looking at rasp it should be on there at some point tomorrow, limited xc though as the site record is 34km by ali guthrie to just past whitby, and that was with a lot of cross wind flying. if you fancy a day out in gods country feel free to give me a call and i will point you in the right direction 07831100052 simon :)

No wind on the ground in Newcastle.........

BUT the clouds are scudding past at a heck of a rate.

Looks like the NHPC squadron might be grounded.

It should say 20 knots at 1000 feet in the west 15 knot at 1000 feet in the east. Good for hang gliding!
