Well with the chance of rain to south it seemed havering was the choice of the day, with blue skies and light winds it seemed the best option though I should of really been on the ppg. But how could you refuse the lovely walk up of the bell with mad dog Brian Ron don followed by bill Ron Freeman and two of his students then even Chris fozz turned up with his dog. Well it was all looking promising with a light northerly and starting to increase, so we decided to sit it out until it picked up to a soarable strength. Unfortunately it got lighter instead of the predicted stronger, still all was not lost with mad dog with a great forward launch with a little help, a sigh of releaf we all headed of after him with a spot landing at the bottom. Still was a great day in the cheviots and John had a great meal in the cafe as well as bill.
Cheers Gary
