I was having a pleasant walk along a beautiful beach last weekend when I came across a very responsible drone pilot.
In other words,,,,I'd flown over him and bombed out and was doing the walk of shame,,,but I stopped for a chat.
He said he had landed when we were flying overhead and asked if we posted anywhere that we were flying so he could avoid us.
An embarrassing moment later,,,,he showed me an app on his phone,,,,drone safe.
All he had to do was zoom into a map, drop a pin and it put out a NOTAM for him with a 500m radius (this could be enlarged)
The map also showed all the NOTAMs for that day.
Haven't checked it out yet,,,but is there one for paragliding and hang gliding? If not,,,why not???

Sorry
Sorry about that Colin Its just that Ive spent a lot of money on a superb drone and they are incredible technology ! but like always as we know there are people out there with plenty of money but no commonsense what so ever and they will spoil it for everyone

Phantom 4
Hi John, I decided for the Phantom 4 its got everything that you need even if your professional ! 4k video at 120ps ! 12meg photos (make sure you get at least one spare battery)
The Phantom 4 Pro gives you a 20meg photo but you don't need it..
The Mavic are fine but struggle in strong winds (not so stable) also the gimbals are very small and a bit delicate + the camera is very close to the ground (dirt)
I know people who have them and now prefer to launch and land from their hand.
You need to study quite a bit (manuals) also there is a lot of setting up but when all done they are simply fantastic so easy to fly and the quality is outstanding.
