Can any Flier or any-one help. " Please"

Post by RonDon »

Flying the other week-end in the Lakes - 18-02 07- the NHPC turned out in mass, and had a canny time flying. Lovely, lovely, lovely.
We are also members of the CSC.

March 17th on the East Coast at Horden, south of Seaham there was once again a big turn-out of NHPC - it was a belter of a flying day from Seaham down to the South.

Then on March 31st. they then turned out in mass again which looked like another good day with a North East wind, but it turned out to be blowing strong.

A tip-top day for the hang-gliders to show their skills.

"But But" this is the question, can you help me please, why is it that Northumbria Flying Club turn out in big numbers, is it because we are "Geordies" close to George Stephenson/ steam engine/Miners -Geordie Lamp or is it that when we grow a little older the tendons in the male hands start to tighten up and shows that we are descendants from the Norsemen/Danes which bring us all together. And to turn it all on it's head we go and allow a Scouse from Liverpool, bless their hearts, kite-surfs from South Shields down to Redcar Long Sands at the speed of the spirit . Paul Myersough. On March 31 .
Can you help me on this please DO. Or is it because we all think the same, lovely.
