Still thinking that Wednesday will be the better day, but to much south for the XFell range unless you're on the south facing slopes.
Old Bewick looks to have the direction at the moment with some thermal activity but a pretty low thermal top, probably capped off by the high cirrus cloud cover.
But things can change!

Never had a flight at Cookies, so can't comment!

i am going to be in Woolsingham at about 12 on Wednesday and the persons place is a big land owner.
i mentioned paragliding and she mentioned wanting to do it, so i am sure there is a south facing hill on there land. so if the direction is right i will drop some big hints on having a fly

Still looking at getting out tomorrow, but as yet no one site standing out as the place to be here in the north, by morning in maybe a bit clearer
