Thats possibly because in theory they only have one site where they actually have sole permission to use it i.e. Carlton Bank.All others are sites where anyone flys them without any specific agreements with landowners.

I thought they'd lost permission for Carlton yars ago, I know we can't get a key to the track. They used to pay the gliding club years ago but those days are long gone.

You should be kind to NYSC they do put a lot of work in to there

Oh and Dave Carlton was never lost as a take off site it was the access to the take off site to vehicles that was lost. You can still fly it but have to carry up.
