East or West?

East.... warm front coming in across the North Sea, with the prospect of another day like today..... grey skys with lowering base, turning to rain....

Miserable.

BUT if you were up early enough, you might get some flying in at the coast.... although it looks NE at least, if not NNE.

West..... the Lakes, Carrock Fell with a mega walk up. And the prospect that it might be blown out. Bad for your CO2 emissions....... and calf muscles.....

OR - if you are Gary Stenhouse, Horden 7am, fly that untill 11, then nip across to Carrock....!

Probably completley wrong..... lets see....

My gut feeling is to drive to the lakes.
