To John
Today I received a telephone call that left me speechless, unable to think, act or respond. I'm still struggling with reality, as I'm sure many people that have heard the news are, that John Wallis, unexpectedly has lost his wife.
In life, there is love, sometimes overlooked in life's great hurry and excitement, but it's always there, no matter what happens, it's always there.
If like me, you struggle for words at times like this, simply post an emoticon.
My deepest sympathy John, to you and your family.

We are both totally devastated at Julie's death. Julie was a good friend and very special person, and will be very much missed.
Our thoughts are with you, Katie, Jenny and Rachel at this very sad time.
We have seen John this evening, and he has confirmed that the funeral has been arranged for 2:30 next Monday 15th June at Ovingham Church.

It is sad to measure your life in terms of hours flown...... but even sadder not to.........

Julie / Mam
Dear Pilots and friends,
My sisters and I want to thank you all for your support and love at this difficult time. Mam was the most selfless person, who would do absolutely anything for her daughters and husband. We will never be able to fill the void she has left, but thank you all so much for your kind words.
She will be sorely missed.
Just to confirm, Mam's funeral arrangements. St Marys Church, Ovingham on Monday the 15th of June 2009 at 14:30. Followed by burial at Ovingham Cemetery and then up to the Lion and Lamb in Horsley.
I know dad would love to see you all there.
Jenny, Katie and Rachael.

Dear John,
I like to think we will all see each others again one day. Last year a good friend handed this beautiful poem to me on difficult times. I have since then read it in numerous occasions and it always brought light and comfort for the day.
Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am in a thousand winds that blow,
I am the softly falling snow.
I am the gentle showers of rain,
I am the fields of ripening grain.
I am in the morning hush,
I am in the graceful rush
Of beautiful birds in circling flight,
I am the starshine of the night.
I am in the flowers that bloom,
I am in a quiet room.
I am in the birds that sing,
I am in each lovely thing.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there. I do not die.
See you in the air my fellow pilot, of your wings she will always be the wind.
