Hownam Law Sat 7th

Post by RonDon »

A Magical day at Hownam Law for the lucky few, Scotland.

There is a Mr Fox watching Andrew Maltby getting ready, to the left, it is on other photo’s to the left as well?

On photo sixteen you can just see, The medieval cultivation terraces down by the river on the left.

The Wing in Pic 17, is for Sale !

Hi Brian..If you have a look at this flight of mine from Sat you should then be able to bring it up on Google Earth. It really is a cracking area and well worth a visit.

Magical place --- I noticed the new gate at the bottom, this may be a good chance for the club to offer to pay for it, as I noticed he still hasnt done the wall that we offered to pay for. What Does the site officer "BOB SUTHERLAND" think?

John, We can't force the guy to fix the wall or the gate. To Will it's not the most pressing job needing done. It'll get done when he's ready or it needs to be done.
A new Tup or a John Deere might be a nice gift.

Thank Ron. Does look like a good site, bit far from Carlisle, but I'll remember it.
