the weekend and flying

Post by gary stenhouse »

well looking at the 5 day the weekend could be good with lakes looking very good high pressure sunny and sse so could be yet another weekend of flying. can we end the proper season with a full weekend flying, as so far this year i have never been rewarded with a full flying weekend in a long time.

fantastic idea ian, me and claire will be up for that. its about time nhpc put some effort into the coaching side of the club. after all we must have more coaches than most clubs but nowt never seems to happen.

Those lovely folks that pay my wages have called me down to SOU for a few nights so I'm off the interweb. As the forecast stands it's looking good for the lakes (the Cheviots arnee blessed with southerly sites unless someone sorts Biddlestone for a busy flying weekend). Tinto's also looking good but more affected by the old frontal cloud - I'm sure your welcome up here if you want a change. So at the moment I'm planning driving the van down to the lakes fri and parking up at castlerigg fri night and probably the same campsite Sat night. If the Cumbrians want you back and you run the comp then great. Low airtimers needn't feel crowded out as a few of the coaches could sort them out?

Might see you there?

Of to Tiree for the weekend tonight, with the surf bums an kiterteers, on a photo shoot/pissup, 13 blokes in all, should be a canny do.

I might haul me carcas into the sea for a little body boarding if theres a wetsuit I can squeeze into.

Tiree,
Thurso?
Well there's a bit of a swell up there, that will catch both spots.
If it's Thurso Steve, I'd stay out of the water if I were you, it can get pretty heavy there, nice pub and night club though.
If it's Tiree, take your own drink, I would think the pub will be shut now, I do know a couple of friendly farmers with a still though!
See you out there!!!!!

Don't worry Neil it's living in the the black hole of urban space (Seaton Sluice) that does it. Too much inbreeding and the salt rusting the brain.
The connection is there when you look outside the box.
SCUBA diving - muff diving - Tiree - sheep - surrounded by sea - salt water - SCUBA Diving etc.
A bit like the goldfish in the bowl.

well looking at the weather then i do not think we will go far wrong with the lakes this weekend. so is it going to be a big getaway or the chosen few. chanel for the radios this weekend should be 143.750.and if you see a bright orange hi arc wing with a tos pot pod then thats me.

see you out there with what could be a full flying weekend?
