Hi all
Stuart and I just want to say a big Merry Christmas to everyone in the club.
We won't be here as we are off to Lanzarote on thursday for a week, for hopefully some sunny coastal flying. Not sure what the weather is up to but at least it won't be snowing!
Don't think we will get over 100K like the very lucky Alastair (well done by the way) but at least I wont need thermals like you do in Keswick at the minute.
Anyway, have a great time and see you all on the hill when we get back.
Jill and Stuart xx

Hi Jill,
If you do get 100K on Lanzarote, you'd better be prepared for a landing in the sea........
Enjoy your hols.

might be possible as i beleive a hg pilot last year flew from lanzorote to fuerteventura, so long as you got a thermal there you could do it or die.
cheers gary

I dont think jill is a stranger to landing in the sea.
If Acro was easy they'd call it Cross Country

It's all right John, I'm feeling mellow cos it's Christmas.
And it was a VERY spetacular way to get into the sea, wasn't it.
Merry Christmas xx
