a fantastic right up from ozone pilot and the glider you fly, at having a chat with a good freind today there was so many bells ringing.

flying should be fun and not be scared or a pain, if the latter is the case then the wing you fly just may be too much for you, we all get scared from time to time but when been scared from take off to landing then it is time for a change. well i have gone for the change and so far i am liking it as i am more confident than i have been for a long time and with this i think and know that i will get back the edge i had pre accident but now with a much greater understanding and a lot safer pilot.

all we need now is the weather too change and to see if my game plan is true.

read it on page 66 of this months xc mag and it all makes sense, after all we fly for pleasure and being scared is not why we do the sport we do as being scared leaves you vunerable and this is not a safe place to be while flying.

no i dont think i was being hastie but i di think i had not analised the conditions we fly in 90% of the time. although i never had any problems flying the peak i also very rarely had any advantage in flying the peak. then i started flying the factor and it opend up the fun side of flying again. my other deason was weight range and given recent health advice and high coestrol then my only choice was to loose weight and this give me no choice other than to sell the peak. some times enjoyment means more than just miles

Interpret as you will, yet no one really knows or understands the statement. What I can tell you is, some times we do things to overcome demons that only those who have come so close to there maker will understand.
