Thanks to Alistair and Susan

Post by brian day »

A big thank you to Alistair and Susan for hosting the BBQ. The weather was good to us,,,eventually, the beer was,,,,very nice!!!! The company good and the music great. (clap) (clap) (clap) (clap)
Sorry I had to leave early my back and knee seem to have given up the will to work at the moment  Even the anesthetic qualities of the beer didn't do the trick, although it was worth a try!

PS The black Columbia waterproof and fleece in the marquee is mine  can you bring it to the meeting for me please?

Thanks again,
Brian
See you out there!!!!!

Great night thanks again to Susan, Alistair, Rebecca and Adam for their hospitality and cups of coffee.

What a great night :home:
Thanks Alistair & Susan..we had a hoot.

Some of my swellings have gone down..New ones have appeared

The egg on my head where I managed to Head Butt Wendy's Pelvis :8: has gone down.
The bruise that runs parallel with my spine is at the red and tender stage and the large black bruise on the side of my knee is doing quite nicely...Don't think I'll be wearing the micro mini and white stilettos for a while :scar:
Chris Little..You and your Great Ideas..I hope your ear is throbbing

K x & Px

It was a brilliant evening!

Good Beer, nice food, and the revelation that the mild mannered Chris Little is in reality a homicidal maniac with pretentions for being a Ringmaster in a circus....

It was when we got to building the human pyramid with 15 people that things went a little wrong! At least Chris got his just deserts with a thick ear.

But before that we had been royally entertained by Jim and his band, playing loads of 60's and 70's hits..... I must have been drunk, singing lead vocals on "Hotel California" and Olivers Army. Not forgetting Anto joining in on his bass.

And today has been spent mostly recovering.....

Pictures will follow, including Kay and Wendy in a space Hopper duel!
It is sad to measure your life in terms of hours flown...... but even sadder not to.........

Thank you Alistair and Susan of opening up the party house for us and putting on a marquee, food, fires and coordinating some great company.

And to all those who fancied themselves as circus acrobats - Well...bah humbug. I told you so!

Great night had by all I would say - thanks to you both for putting us all up and taking the risk of grief from the neighbours although I would say we kept them entertained too. Need to get those hot air balloons sorted for next time though.

P.S. Was that what we had in mind when someone suggested that NHPC should organize an acro team for next LCC??
