response for leaving keys on cars in lock box may be helpful

HI Gary
Our regional underwriters have replied and said that in principle then this would be OK as it is a better option then leaving the keys somewhere else with little security.

We still need to submit to our Head Office underwriters to get this agreed but prior to that please can you provide me with the following details to finalise:-
• policy number and vehicle that this applies to
• how long you go surfing for, is it an hour or could it be longer.
• how often this occurs. Do you go surfing approximately once a week or more frequent? This is just so we can consider the risk fully and an estimation will be sufficient.
• does the car have any other security features ie. alarm, immobiliser etc

We will start our Head Office referral so we can get this finalised once you reply.

Thank you.

OH my! in other words.

Can we have your full details so we can black mark your file, so when you do have a claim we have in writing you leave your keys on the car, Sir.
