Cumbria have rearranged their rounds for this coming weekend, and I have submitted an entry for the NHPC team.

Anyone interested in competing, please post your names below.....

The plan at the minute is to meet in the car park at Rheged (a mile from Penrith on the Keswick road....) at 10:30 tomorrow morning, and then make a site assesment from there.

If anyone fancies travelling over tonight let me know.... I am planning on going over this evening.... I have birthday monies burning a hole in my pocket which needs to be given to Steve Giles....

if the weather had been looking better then i would of been up for the comp as i have had the offer of a glider for the weekend. with all the physio i am doing i will be beeting chris little up the hills. mind if all goes well in the next week i would like to compete at the bpc or at least go along, and if conditions prevail then compete. that is of course that i can get a hold of all my new gear.my new set up should only weigh 11.4kg including carrying bag. so should make walking up them hills a lot easier, that is as well using a proper glider and harnnes.

all i hope is that i dont loose my bottle and end up a quivering wreck at the side of the mountain. mind you i have been re peogramming my system in order to counteract any such occurences.

i had previously hoped that after the accident i would of been left content and not wanting to fly so soon. and early indications sugested that recovery would take a long time. unfortunately they had underestimated the healing powers of the ginger, we are even said to have greater pain thresholds than any known creature , so the next time you mock the gingers remember the hidden poweres they hold

i'm board so i must be getting better although i am knackered from 2 hours physio every other day
