Flight Culture SIV Course

Post by Steve.T. »

Flight Culture still have a few places on their SIV course running in

Switzerland from the 10 - 17 August.

This course is suitable for all pilots with 10+ hrs airtime and

essential for pilots flying DHV 2 gliders or above.

The focus of the course is in teaching recognition of the symptoms so

that you can prevent problems happening in the first place. You'll be

able to practice the maneuvers on DHV

1 gliders (which we'll provide) before going through them on your own

glider.

This course is designed to be educational rather than simply letting

you experience maneuvers; the emphasis will be on understanding and

control. By the end of the course you'll have a much better

understanding of how to handle your glider, greater confidence in your

flying skills, as well as having had a lot of fun.
