looked like a national nhpc holiday at model today

Post by gary stenhouse »

after leaving physio early to do a site visit at seaham hall it seemed rude not to call in at model. although i seemed to be racing against the seabreeze alll the way down.

it was nice to get there and finish my physio with a nice walk back up model and also entertain the crowds with some crap ground handling, i think it was the thermal gusts. apart from that it was chalenging out of 10 flights i only went down on 1 so not bad. it was the take off thermal 100m then sink which was stronger than the lift.

all that said and done a jolly nice day out, after who wants to go xc anyway?

Took off, got high, went to Cringle, Gary rang me, which switched the GPS off, then had a great days flying.
Must have been my lucky day! Andrew Maltby on his demo wing was over there with me, nice flying chasing one another's thermals 8) :D
See you out there!!!!!
