Do any of you guys use/know of a good insurance company. One of my girls is off skiing with her friend and organising it all herself for the first time. I've always used Snowcard which are good and reliable but their prices seemed to have jumped up somewhat. The British Mountaineering Club is another good one but again not the cheapest. She's googled a few and can get cover for £25.00 but how good is the cover? Any recommendations much appreciated.
Cheers

Have a look at http://www.direct-travel.co.uk/
Used them a couple of times for walking trips in Madeira and the Italian Dolomites as they specifically mention cover for high level walking. Medical expenses, including search & rescue, hospital bills etc of £10 million, which should be more than enough.
Quotation for skiing here http://www.direct-travel.co.uk/ski-insurance.aspx
Never needed to make a claim, so I can't comment on what they're like should something go wrong.
Also, they don't do paragliding, unless you give them extra money, and strap yourself to a qualified tandem pilot!!

Ouch!!!!
Get well soon Naiomi.
Can't believe you managed that snowboarding unless a binding came off?
If it was skiing, see Simon before you go again and get bindings and boots sorted to save any further damage. Remind him that you know me so you get the best service, he's at Snow And Rock now and really knows the business.
cheers,
Brian
