Public nusance.

Post by Fingers »

Sitting relaxing at around 8-9pm last night watching and wondering what it might be like to live inside my fish tank. A high pitched whine started to become just audible, 5 mins of trying to just dismiss it, not ceased but it had got a little louder!
MMMmmm peace gone, now springing into action, is it the dish washer?............ the fridge?............... the TANK!.............. my ear was investigating, pointed and probing like a dog at HMcustoms, all possible sources of what had now become 20 minutes of the sort of noise these people must hear just minutes before taking leave of there sences and then to the streets with a gun to spray bullets left and right.

It was not till I opened the back door armed with a shovel (not having a gun) that the source was revealed! 200 foot up at 2 o'clock a buzzing oscillation of smoke and fumes crawling across the sky like some small snail detached from its shell. Not just one, but two, flying south for the summer, and to nest, maybe, I dont know?

Being a pacifist I have done the right thing by writing to the council to inform them I have my 22 air rifle on order and they have about two weeks before it arrives to deal with this public nuisance themselves.

Pubic Nuisence

Post by GlennP »

I'm sure a good doctor can treat your pubic nuisence Fingers. It might be the hot weather.

Yeah it was a super quick leg on the way back Gary. With a lot of sink aswell. Full power just to maintain with trimmers off. Weird! And full power on the way out into wind. Strange conditions with wind shear and sinky air and an inversion if you can have all 3 simultaneously.....

Have to say thanks to that chap who came over asking about paramotoring. The decomp remote had come out of its mount and I needed someone to press the button in. He aslo helped lay the glider out for my first forward launch with the PPG in nil wind.

I was at 540ft above the sea at Seaton Sluice. It was HOT up there! I did wave to you Fingers but I think you were too busy looking for wasps with your shovel, and scratching your pubic nuisence, to respond.

Another 40 mins in the log book and a couple of photos for the album. Nice one!
You are only as good as your last flight........
