Well Done Paul and John, the MeetHeads!

Post by AlastairW »

Excellent comp at Cross Fell today, with a great task set by Paul and John, namely a race to goal, the goal being Talkin Tarn.

15 pilots took part, and everyone seemed to have a really good atempt at the task.

Loads of gliders at one point in Melmerby bowl.

The rumour is John Watson got furthest, (at least it was when I left the hill), with Brian Day second.

Look forward to the results Paul!

PS - my tracklog is on the league, but for some reason only shows up properly in google earth.
It is sad to measure your life in terms of hours flown...... but even sadder not to.........

If Acro was easy they'd call it Cross Country

Good task John and Paul, well suited to the day, so tempting to keep on winding back tho. First time for me by the way of Melmerby Bowl, good place to meet folk. Enjoyed the day, need to learn more patience tho.
I Learnt a lot. Cheers.
Congratulations to John W (and for getting a lift off the Cumrew keeper  )
Great to see so many people on the hill and at the pub.
