AGM This Wednesday

I'm just wondering if members realise it's the AGM this Wednesday when our committee will step down for re-election. It's an important night if we want to keep the club running. I thought I'd post this as I haven't seen much about it on the forum.

Yes it's the AGM next Wednesday so get yersell down and vote for your club etc etc

Thanks for the reminder John.

Unfortunately neither Paul or I can make the AGM meeting. How-ever with my membership secretary hat on can I propose a vote to be taken at the Agm.
A Change To Membership Renewal Date
Currently as an inherited date membership reminders go out at end of May for membership renewals 1st June.
This seems to me late into the start of the flying season, realistically with renewals coming in end of June till.......Aug Sept !!!!!!! and later

I would like to propose that renewals should come more into line with the start of us coming out of hibernation and the start of the flying season.
Therefore I would like to propose that membership renewal be for 1st April.

Can someone please ensure that this motion is put forward for me

i cant be at the agm either, as i will be in spain, but i do support garys nomination for chair. The whole membership thing needs to be january or april, kay is right i think, makes sense.
