Accident on Wether Fell 2007

For those of you who are interested the AAIB have just published their formal report into last years fatality to a PG pilot on wether fell. You can read it via the link below. Those of you who choose to fly in similar conditions read it twice!!

I notice he was flying a dual, so would imagine him to well on the bottom of the weight and possibly making the wing more prone to collapse.

could only put down to a accident and a tragedy as i know he did not impact hard. it shows in this life how easy it can be taken away without a little bit of luck on your side. it sounds like he could of hit just about anywhere and would of probably walked away exept one lown rock.
