Had a pleasant 40 minutes flight until i was rudely interrupted by tornados, front, side and overhead not sure how close they were but i certainly felt the shockwaves...think they were jealous really... :lol:

Had you NOTAMed the site, if so then you should report it. CSC had a presentation a few weeks ago from an RAF pilot and he was very clear that they receive all NOTAM's and have to change their route to avoid them. He also encouraged us to report the incident if we feel that they are too close.

Rubbish, --- if you notam they will come to have a look, ive experienced it first hand, they're only young adrenaline junkies after all.

Don't forget... the CAA are trying to stop us from flying (transponders issue) if we don't NOTAM ! and there is an accident that will be it !!! the CAA will use all their powers to be to stop us flying all together.

NOTAM and stay on the right side....

Yes i know i will hold my hands up i did not notam it, but i did not think i would be going due to the weather. I had a choice of six sites on the way down and changed my mind whether to go to work or to go flying, i was going to go to weather fell however changed my mind at the last minute and i did not want to notam all 6 sites, with the weather in this country you cant say immediately where you are going to go. My bad!!! :oops:
