So where would you like to be when it's snowing heavens high and the wind is blowing about 30mph. At home in front of the fire, of if your on a hill at least in the car with the heater on. Not so valiant members of the NHPC who bravely rallied round to help this stupid d*** who managed to get his motor firmly stuck on a rock on Saturday.
Massive thanks to Phil and Woody who spent a good hour in the snow crawling around on a very soggy and muddy Cross Fell jacking the car up to get rocks under the wheels to extricate me from my predicament. I owe you several pints guys!!
Some with good memories may remember I've done this before a couple of years ago in the sunnier climes of Lanzarote. Now you know why I called my band On The Rocks........
