talking to neil tonight and it sounds like as we are basking in the rain wind and sunshine they are doing some good flying. that is, if your not neil with his t shirt on at cloud base and 6 degrees. neil had to land early thoough he does tell me he got a bit of a kicking shortley after take off.
now the real pilots ron don on his demo sigma 7 flew the grand tour de lac with a staggering 3 hours 40 minute flight. ron came on the phone and to say he was best pleased was a understatement. its so nice to here what a nice time there having when we are so lucky as not to suffer with cloudbase and uv problems with our gliders. you neve know though we may get our revenge in the next few days if the weather does come good, and i can get some time off work.
cheers gary
i hope it makes you all feel so much better knowing otheresare having some flying in

Not wishing to be a wet blanket John but I reckon Semerwater will be blown out on Thursday and Friday. It seems to get blown out very easily there if there's any sort of wind. You might be stuck with East Hill..........John Wallis wrote:Well I've managed to book Thursday and Friday off if it's not too winday a possible trip to Semmerwater will be on the cards and a flight to Scotland would be nice
Lovely flight up the Northumberland coast last night to Bamburgh on the microlight. Listening in to Newcastle sounded like everyone and their brother was out flying.
