Hi just a quick message to say hello. I've recently passed my CP and joined the Club a couple of weeks ago. I'm very keen to get out and get some flying done and would be grateful if anyone could offer any advice or preferably accompany me out on the hills.

I'm based in Washington but have transport and can fly weekends or mid week.

If anyone would like to get in touch they can e mail me direct on

liamhowley@chester-le-street.gov.uk or on mobile tel 07786276285

I'm available throughout the bank holiday weekend.

Thanks and best wishes

Liam

Hi Liam. Welcome to the forum. Are you hang gliding or paragliding?

Hi Liam welcome to the NHPC. Try and get along to the next meeting at the Corner House in Heaton and say hello. Which school did you get your CP with?

As for flying you've probably joined us at the worst spell of weather in the known history of free flight so things can only get better. Below is a link to the club coaches but just post on the flying today forum and you will get a response/help from members going out.

Feel free to ring me after 18.00 hrs on 07918082902

Cheers

John Wallis

Hi Liam

Welcome to NHPC. Although not coaches Paul and myself will be in the Lakes this weekend, not holding out much hope on the forecast but you are more than welcome to give us a call for an update (07770 808 250).

I don't know if you have joined Cumbria Club as well as NHPC but they are holding a coaching day on Saturday regardless of the weather and are planning a theory session if its not flyable. I've attended many of the Cumbria Coaching days on both flyable and non flyable days and have always found them really helpful and informative, its definitely worth going along.
