Presentation evening

Post by brian day »

A big thank you to all involved in last nights fantastic presentation evening.
That's the cop out in case I miss anyone, but I'll give it a go.
Chris for organising the room and free buffet (and of course the Corner House and it's staff)
Bill for organising the raffle, even if Mad Dog didn't win anything.
Paul and Kay for organising the photo comp, (thought I was on to a winner, but was pipped at the post by a very good mug shot of the boy from Crimmers, nice one Alan)
John Wallis, for not beating me in the XC League.
John Wallis for organising the prizes and giving an excellent incite into the great flights of the year from club members.
Congratulations to all the prize winners, I'm sure next year will be more difficult for you!
And, last but not least, to everyone that turned up and had a great evening.
As I said at the beginning, if I've forgotten anything or anyone, sorry, and a big thank you!

See you out there!!!!!

great evening as usual, yet where was the rest of the members? i mean free food crckers and plenty of christmas cheer, it would of been nice to see a few more faces there.

well i think there is now going to be some great competition going next year as i know that there will be otheres hot on my tail to take away all my new trophys, mind you i am back i hope to the level where i left off 18months ago but a lot smarter.

this year i want to do at least one open xc on the hg of over 30k and several flights over 50k on the pg. the other though not as chalenging is to fly home from the lakes on my paramotor one summer evening.

so let the season to begin and lets all enjoy and enjoy the year ahead, and who knows this could be a weekend to produce another thing i want to do by flying in the snow and do some ground skimming.

cheers gary

Firstly, huge congrats to Ron Don and John Miller on their new status, very well deserved!!

Is anyone going to post a list of the prize winners??

We would have been there but have been flying for most days for the last three weeks in Bir, India and then Pokhara, Nepal. Have you guys had much in the Cheviot Hills lately??

Be good to be home this weekend as all this sun is no good for my fair skin.

Hi Claire I think Colin is going to post something? I know he took a load of photos for us and I've sent him the list.
