Flying Club at Lachens

The flying club at Lachen are interested in twinning our clubs. Below is the letter that was sent to me, what do members think? Can't do any harm can it.

Hello John,

I have had your mail by Gilles. I am e member of Lachens Vol Libre and my husband called Max too. He has a paraglider school at Lachens since one year.

I don't fly, but I'm the paymistress of Lachens Vol Libre. I have had a look through your website witch is very happy, especially your photo ! I have had a look through the Cumbria Soaring Club website too (very serious). I read in it a very beautiful poem called " My husband has a burning desire".

As I'm learning english, I would try (with Gilles's help) to twin our club with your club (even we can't fly in the "Cheviot Hills").
Are you agree with this idea?

I don't know "Chez Julie", so, I don't know if it's still open. "Les Lavendes" is still open and makes always excellents pizza !

Hmm the Cheviots for the Maritime Alps? Seems like a fair swap, hopefully we will be in the area in April - a wonderful part of the world.

I know what you mean. Can you imagine the French Pilots turning up on west hill after flying the Maritime Alps.......Monsieur are you taking zee piss........Non We have better we also have Titlington Pike

We are also going out sometime this year maybe a couple of times?Hoping to stay at Ruth and Ulrics place.

Can't beat it - a lovely area no matter what your doing.

R&U are great hosts and if they are booked up Ruth will help you get accomadation in the St Aubern area and help you plan your stay. If your stopping at R&Us (recomended) take your drinking boots
