stuart was having the same problem and i beleive brian did when he first got his. so guess brian is the man to see as for some reason there must be a small glitch as when talking to stuart today every thing was in order and the same set up as my braunigger so could just be some firmware upgrade i think

Neil

Got this sorted after talking to Brian about his port settings. The port was initally set to com 1 which did not work even though it indicates that this is the correct port in the manual.
If you go to extras in flychart then settings you can chose which port to connect to and it is the one that says something like "COMxx - prolific USB to serial port" as soon as I did this the whole thing was easy.
You do need to have the unit switched on and at the flight analysis page before pluging in the USB.
You can then press the download from unit button and go from there

Give me a call if you need more info

No Stuart, I fear that all Neil's data is lost or most definitely corrupt and unacceptable!!!!
If you have any problems Neil, give me a ring and I'll talk you through it.
I have to do the port settings thing every time. The option for that port isn't available until your vario is on the flight analysis page and plugged into a USB port either. That could be because I probably use different USB ports as well.
See you out there!!!!!

Try to use the same usb port and it will be the same com port you will usually find that if your lead neads a driver then it will want to install it every time you plug it into a new usb port.
