It looks like Ron Don Paragliding and Gary Stenhouse Hang gliding are in line to take the winter (and I use it loosely) XC league trophies. Looking at the long range forecast it appears that the positions will probably not change especially within the paragliding section. Will there be a late challenge from the hang gliding section? Can't see it myself it all seems quite stagnant.
Who knows..........Gary Stenhouse beating all before him after only been flying hang gliders a year or so. Who's the more hungry now then? I would say GS easy peasy....The rest of you are chasing this guy now

your right about the forecast bloody hell, it certainly is looking shit. but i am sure it will only take a coastal day to do so, hav;n said that most my flights have been done inland and were not complete ridge runs so who knows. as for the next flyable day i will be out as well so what ever i do you will have to do more. still will not be happy untill i do a full blown open xc and not half and half ridge run though the ingleby bowl one could be my first proper xc out and return but not very big.
funny hoe the person who is not by any means the best pilot could be wininig, is that others are not putting in there flights to humer me or is it lack of motivation to get out there and push them selves on medioca days. lets hope that the summer season becomes a chalenge of real xc of triangles open xc and out and returns out of ridge lift
