well have been checking things out and i think the further south will be lightest and i am now thinking of parlick 1 it is not to far to drive 2 it is quite low 3 it is sw and this is the direction where people have flown to hetton le hole, so what do you think could this be a good option for stronger winds and good xc flying? who has flown this site as it looks to take a lot of directions
cheers gary

Check out the RASP for 11am at the mynd this Sunday! BBC giving 9 mph sw at moment down there. Should be brought on by the thermals. Sat night BBC suggests -3c and max on sunday of +9c = High cloudbase.
Of course if we look again on sat night it'll be rain and gales

fore cast is getting better and we could be good at xfell weather fell or anywhere now but the long mynd is looking at 45% humidity -3 night temps and 9 day time this could mean 5000 plus clowdbase do we go and take the place by storn also showing wnw which is the absolute best direction.

yep i am thinking there will be opertunities for good flying from cross fell to the lakes to the dales or why not do a big trianle covering all three. they say years ago someone got from cross fell to penrith so why not the lakes then down to the dales as well. could that be possibble?
we will wait and see but what ever happens i want to be there cheers gary
