Learning to Fly-The Film

Post by GlennP »

Hi ,

I've just made a video about a group of EPs trying to get their CP (with Sunsoar) in a week in Southern Morocco. It's 45mins long with an original soundtrack from Peppergun and Bold Blue Crescent and shows 3 of the most popular flying sites around Mirleft and what Morocoo is like for those that have never been. I filmed , edited , narrated and produced the film.

It'll be pretty boring for Skygods but for anyone interested in taking up the sport it's a good watch. Takes you back to the beginning. See if they can do it.....

I'm flogging them for £10 to raise money for the Cistic Fibrosis Trust since a good friend of mine (and future brother-in-law) has the condition and spends 6 months a year in hospital. The CF trust sponsor a programme at Newcastle RVI to make it bareable to be in hospital for weeks on end. All proceeds of the DVD go to CF Trust.

Anyone interested in getting a DVD for a good cause?

Glenn

Thanks John. Much appreciated.

I'll bring a few to the next meeting. It's probably of little interest but I can do a talk about filming and how to make videos better at The Cornerhouse.

Not that mine is the bees knees like.

Thanks Bill.

This viedo has been a labour of love. My edit suite crashed half way through and I lost everything. Then I had to buy a new computer and new editing software. Ouch!!! :???: Then I had to learn how to use it. Took ages.

I'm more than happy to pass on a few tips for your forthcoming documentary 'St Hilaire Scouser'

Cheers Glenn
