I mentioned this video to a few people. Some of you were interested. The clip I was on about is at 1min 36 secs. This is what happens when you fly through rain. Apparently there was water collected at the trailing edge and brake input for a turn along with all that water certainly woke this fella up.

This guy was VERY lucky! The motor saved him. He could have easily been crippled/dead crashing in from that height onto tarmac.

At the end there is a demonstration of how a paraglider and a prop don't mix well.

I would say at least learn how to fly a paraglider and build up some airtime first.
