Hogdon Law for a big one !

Post by ron freeman »

Dave, Hogdon Law is great for a big XC. This site is part a very long ridge system running all the way up to the Cheviot !

The run would take you onto 'Cushat Law' then 'Bloodybush edge' from there Windy Glye is just a couple of miles over the back then you clear all the way to the s west coast... 120miles !!!

Post by ron freeman »

In terms of your XC ability Steve I will keep this very simple

Hogdon Law is a fairly new site and not many XC have been tried yet... but they soon will, oh and by the way my best XC is 112miles in England 54 miles in Scotland & 122 miles in Austria so no 'DELUSION' there mate, I know what I am talking about.

Not interested in your personal conquests Ron nore was I attacking you, simply challenging your theory by stating the facts that there are no XC's worth talking about done from the Cheviots and no amount of flannel can change that fact.

The arm is fine Ron and I am only left with a slight permanent disability, which I am sure I too might come to laugh at also, given time. Get your self down the hospital Ron where there are loads of other people to point at and laugh about there misfortunes. I look forward to showing you my elbow the next time I see you, real close up, I'd like you see you laughing in my face.

Ding ding

A bit uncalled for there Ronnie, what steve says is right though, big XC 's just dont happen from the cheviots. Mind you I still love them, and mileage done in the cheviots is worth far more than elswhere in my opinion.
