How about having an 'XC Libarary forum' just one click and we can view & read about all the Xc's attemped and achieved by our members lets say anything over 15k with a small write up ?

This would be a huge learning curve to everybody that likes to go over the back and explore. 8)

I think that's a great idea Ronnie. I've found it very instructive to look at people's flight tracks on the league, even more so when they have posted some flight comments (e.g. last Saturday's flights by Ali, Jim Bittlestone, Wolfie etc. One of these days I might even be able to do the same

Wey hey ! after 65 views finally a reply... I thought it was a good idea too Dave.

The XC track log is brilliant but no good without a decent write up of your flight.

I do think this would be one of the most read forums on the board (weather providing  )

I know folk want to talk about stuff to explain better, but if a brief synopsis is posted then that can start conversation?

There seems to be plenty of space in the "comments" section of the flight log. So maybe a good starting point would be to use this for a commentary on the flight (I guess that's what it's intended for.......) :)

For example, Ali did a rather good job on his recnt Dales to Whitby flight.

And you can link photos to the flight log too :)
