The Grasmere Show

Dave asked me to post the details for the Grasmere Show for this year, this is the info he has sent me.

Yes, once again it’s time to think about the big one – THE Accuracy Competition which
lets you smile .. and fly! Outrageous, but you’ll just have to live with it.
The format will be similar to previous years. The event is suitable for pilots of all
abilities. The launch is straightforward and the landing field massive. Assistance will be
available for low airtime pilots. Pilots are encouraged to fly for as long as they like and
then head for the teeny weeny little spot where the team of internationally accredited
judges will measure your distance from the centre. Pilots can have as many flights as
they want.
There will be two competition categories; B Comp - pilots qualifying for CP after Jan 1st
2007; A Comp - the rest.
The Comp is open to all BHPA registered pilots and visitors are more than welcome.
Once again Cumbria and Northumberland will compete for the coveted Inter-County
Grasmere Show Trophy.
