CSC Facebook
Hi,
I created a CSC facebook fanpage a couple months ago. It's not been too popular, but I try to post something on it almost everyday.
Feel free to follow it too and to post on it. http://www.facebook.com/pages/Cumbria-S ... =688828214
Also a CSC "live site info" twitter page. Which also hasn't worked as I had hoped:
http://twitter.com/CSClivesiteinfo
The idea of this was:
1. set up your twitter account.
2. become a follower of the CSClivesiteinfo twitter page
3. CSClivesiteinfo will become a follwer of your twitter account
4. enable your twitter page to receive text messages from your mobile phone.
5. Go flying.
6. Before you launch, text the current conditions to your twitter account
7. Fly
This will be updated almost instantly for others to check before going to a site. I've been testing it from my computer, mobile phone, facebook account, twitter account, etc. It works to some degree, but there are a number of issues.
If you want to read about some of the problems check out the CSC forum.
I think it should work better than it does. let me know if you have any suggestions.
