Anyone ever had a pigeon land on your wing? Was actually quite scary as I had thoughts of it clawing and pecking the upper surface. Scared it away with some vigourous brake pumping and shouting.
This was at Model Ridge on Saturday when up at the inversion or what I'm led to believe could have been the inversion with the wing shaking slightly and feeling twitchy at 2000ft. The pigeon then returned from the rear and landed again on the top surface. I scared it off once again.
Lovely day's flying at Model (except for the usual daft decisions) and lift everywhere.
Enjoyed the inpromptu acro/SIV/crash landings of our PPG cousins who think free flying is easy and decided to give us a demo of their 'skills'.
