Happy XMas to you Geordies!

Post by paolo »

Well my friends,
We are at the end of the year once again, and wanted to wish you all a very Happy Christmas spent with all your beloved ones, as well as a cracking and full off flying 2010.

I must admit, I do miss the NHPC gang and I wish my english and general situation was better on those days, to have enjoyed more, of your good company, but well, we are up here now in bonny Scotland and things are going well.

2009 was a great flying year for me, finally managing to get the hand of UK flying conditions making the most of the short flying season in the Highlands..what a place you need to drive up in April/May..you won't regreat it.

Second highlight was a trip to BIR, and MANALI in India....MAN WHAT A SITE!!!! the best and more beautiful place I have ever flown. I have never felt so special in the air, sitting at 5500mt surrounded by 6k and 7k mountains puts a bit of perspective on to things, we are certainly blessed by being part of that minority that flyes for fun!.

One day we slept in the mountain after flying the whole day and took off early in the morning, literally with the second thermal passing by take off and landed only when it was getting dark in the same place after having gone cross country the whole bloody day! it was epic! (Paul I'll call you later for more details : ) Paragliding rocks!

For all this, we had a great year, I hope you all did too in the air and back at home, and can't wait to see what is 2010 spring like for us.

TAKER CARE! HAPPY CHRISTMAS AND A CRACKING NEW YEAR!!!

Hey my long haired Friend, I hope Cathy and you are doing good. Are you still involved with that revolutionary boat kite thing?

All the Best for Christmas and the New Year.
