I was speaking to Colin Chapman at our Christmas night out, who was raving about Avatar, the film, which he had seen at the Metrocentre Imax screen in 3d.

He described it as one of those most amazing experiences, like going to the cinema for the first time as a child, and your jaw hitting the ground cos it was SOOO good.

He was wrong.

It is even better than that!

Go and see it!!

It is amazing - the future of cinema is clearly 3D, and this film just exploits the new technology brilliantly.

Apparently the Lord of the Rings trilogy is going to be remastered in 3D, as is star wars. Wow!!
It is sad to measure your life in terms of hours flown...... but even sadder not to.........

Booking tickets now, if the 3d is half as good as last years boxing day panto at the Theater Royal it should be unreal
