law and order and what you think as there is no flying

Well sometimes I wonder how the system works and here goes the case.

One of the lads from work was stood in the pub with his fiancée and a couple of mates when a guy comes past and smacks him full in the head and runs off. Once he pulls himself off the ground his reaction was to make chase out of the pub, the bouncers did try to stop him, but he slipped them and made chase down the big market after him. Luckily CCTV had already caught the chase and had the perpetrator caught before he got chance. The police arrested the person and took statements and were going to press charges and did try. Then the whammy comes first appearance was adjourned only turned out the perpetrator was a barrister from Doncaster. Then at the court case the perpetrator was examined without the victim been present, yet when he was questioned he was. For 45 minutes he was grilled and that he had ran after the accused and showed signs of aggression’ that was enough to say that to hit some one hard enough for no reason and fracture there cheek bone. Means your innocent if you are then chased after. I wonder what the chances are to really get a case against a guilty barrister?

You sometimes wonder what the courts are for if you can have a case that strong and still be beaten.
I am sure the case was decided prior to even going in over a nice cup of coffee and a chat

Struggling to get the full facts from your text Gaz, but if it were me I would not rest till I had justice, however that may be dealt out. A good dose of mental torcher spread over 6 months or so would fit the bill I think.

magistrates court, having defended a case there myself i was surprised to hear how you were not allowed to be present while the accused was been examined or not.

no wonder the police do not bother that oftern taken things to court and prefer to just give crimanal injuries.

daft thing was if he had not got court then he would of been entitled to damages.
