Radio

Post by Trevor Robinson »

I am after a radio, so what are the recommendations? Just the usual wants, small, light, good battery life, decent range, not one that needs some work by fat fingers and a soldering iron, and preferably with a bullshit filter!
Sorry about the weather, it was me, finished a paragliding CP conversion and its been cr*p ever since

The little Yeasu ( I think it is the VX10?).

Good battery life, small enough to put in your pocket, decent range.

And for the bullshit filter, just switch Wallis's radio off! :D :D :D
It is sad to measure your life in terms of hours flown...... but even sadder not to.........

If you want chunky buttons try a dj195.

This place called Nevada do radios pretty cheap and can get any accessory for them.

it needs to be cracked but that's easy to do.

Sick and wrong do radios aswell and Steve does a decent price.

i bought my radio from nevada and they asked my intended use when i received it it was already wide banded.
If Acro was easy they'd call it Cross Country
