Hi Gary,
I am organising the UK Banff Mountain Film Festival world tour and we are visiting Keswick Theatre by the Lake this week on Saturday 6th at 1930.
The UK festival features a collection of extraordinary short films (each screening is approximately a 3 hr event). This year's films are brilliant and include Mont Blanc a speed flying film and also Medeoz which incorporates speed flying and paragliding.
I was wondering if you thought it might be worth a mention to your club as a social event? This is our first year so we're trying to get the word out there any way we can!
It is going to have a really great festive atmosphere. We're giving away stax of prizes too
Through the big screen the audience will be able visit remote cultures and the world’s last great wild places as well as experience amazing footage of other adrenaline packed action sports such as climbing, kayaking, skiing and mountain biking. The festival is also quite an icon for the spirit of adventure on the big screen and also features some awe inspiring individuals
We've been to Glasgow already and it was a really fantastic night. This week we have 2 shows in London before Keswick.
You can look at the whole programme and tour trailer at www.banff-uk.com . The site takes you to a link at Theatre by the Lake to book tickets.
I hope some of you guys can make it. If you have any questions just let me know!
Thanks,
Nell
