Good to see that the landowners cover has been extended to £5 million.
This was one of the things that Durham County Council was concerned about when we had the meeting about Horden.
Not that they have ever got back to us.

It is sad to measure your life in terms of hours flown...... but even sadder not to.........
insurance
Do the pikeys on motorbikes have £5 million cover for riding at Horden?
Is the club actually negotiating with the correct authority?
Durham County Council do not appear to be the landowner at Horden?
The land at Horden seems to be a mish mash of parcels of land owned by the NT, Easington District Council, The Coal Authority and private ownership. Easington Council, Horden Parish Council , Natural England the National Trust and Durham Heritage Coast all have a part in managing the coast.
DHC appears to have a warden that looks after the coastline. DHC is a splinter group set up by the council.

It would appear that this group is responsible for the upgrades to the track which is good to know if we ever have access problems.
There has been some corrugated asbestos sheet dumped in the car park when I was there last.
We might be able to secure a written agreement to fly from Horden as negotiated by the club with our newly enhanced £5million liability.
