Thanks to all those that attended last night and contributed to a great meeting.
A huge thank you to Paul Myerscough and Alistair Wolfe who have offered their time to act as comp organisers for our round. It is a shame that the club team will have to do without their excellent piloting skills during our comp.
I'm sure everyone will agree that they will be given team selection priority in all the other comps for the year. As will those that attended last night.
Our round is now finalised, I will put together all the information and post it to all other clubs later, along with the calender for the year. This info will be put onto the website as well.
Thanks again everyone.

It would be nice to know if we are going to get enough support to have A and B competition.
The other is will the year be long enough to have 6 rounds as even with perfect weather this is unlikely? Or is the plan to have only 3 rounds with some clubs co hosting? Just some thoughts and concerns, as the level of participation are crucial for this to work. The other is that most people at the meeting were experienced pilots except 1. So are we going to be able to encourage enough newer pilots to make a viable A and B team? This means a lot of commitment and would need every club member to come forward as it is unlikely that each pilot would be available on 6 rounds.
Just some rambling that I do think need to be thought about though may have already been done
Cheers Gary

It has worked out at a comp per month, May to October, awaiting confirmation from N.Yorks and Cayley.
It was a bit disappointing not to see many new pilots at the meeting, as this comp has been put together for them, with all the organisation and tasks geared towards a safe learning environment for new pilots.
I'm hoping as the weather improves, enthusiasm will return.
Next week looks really good on the weather front, should be loads of opportunities to get out flying!!!!
